Been a while...
So it's been while since we've written anything. Not because we didn't have anything to say, but because I hadn't recoded the admin pages. Well, I took the hour to do that, and here we are again.

A lot has happened lately. I'll summarize.

Tori is growing like a weed. She is repeating anything we say now, so we've started talking like parents -- finally. There's a very good reason that people don't swear around their little ones, we've found. She is climbing, and has started insisting on doing whatever we are doing, including sitting at the table, drinking from a glass, etc., none of which she can quite do on her own yet. She has also started being defiant, we think. Either she is being defiant, or just isn't learning that when we say stay away from something, we mean it.

Amy is getting as big as a house. Baby X is quite visible and nearly as active as Tori. Counting the days.

Pfeffer is no longer with us. It turns out that she was horribly aboused before we found her, used to train attack or fighting dogs. This explains her problem with other dogs. She is in a no-kill shelter waiting for a foster home with no other dogs, and no small children. We'll miss her, but not enough to endanger our kids.

WorldCom is still here, much to my surprise. We're starting to actually settle into our new home. The thought process when we moved here was that I could work a couple of low paying jobs and pay the mortgage, which wouldn't have been possible in Northern Virginia. Hopefully I won't have to test that theory, but at least it is an option.

We got cell phones. That's right, after all of our bitching about cell phones, we gave in. We dumped our normal phone, and have a cell phone each. In many ways, it's actually a better deal, so I'm not sorry we made the switch. Many of our friends made comments about the ground being cold, which are appropriate. We still don't have a television, though. :)

I sold my piano. I didn't play it enough to justify keeping it. I hope to get into electronic music again -- at some point.
